Easter Tables

Setting a spring table for Easter

Gather your plates , napkins and candles.  Sometimes just adding a novelty item e.g. a napkin folded as a rabbit ear is all you need for an Easter table.  When you add green vintage dishes and pretty plates the flowers and foods say it is Spring all on their own.  I love to add risers for adding a detail to add dimension to the table.  In this setting I added a pretty tall whispy plant/flower to a basket for added texture.  Adding candles in a pale color and one with a spiral detail also adds some variety to the table.

I used a compote for flowers and allows for conversation since it is a low vessel.  I choose pinks and purples to add to the color scheme of the table.

When decorating and setting a table display pretty candle holders as they act as the accessory of the table alongside a napkin ring or charger for plates.

Until the next design tip… keep those ideas going.
